Braces for AdultsÂ
While braces are typical for teenagers, the popularity of braces for adults is growing faster and faster. No matter your situation, there is no age limit for braces. At Beacon Dental Group, we want all members of the family to have a smile that they are confident with. There are plenty of options for braces for adults, and we invite you to learn about each one and come in for a consultation to get you started.Â
Two Different Types
Today, adults have the option of getting traditional braces or using clear aligners. Traditional braces have been around for quite some time, but the process still works. With the use of metal brackets, wires, and elastic bands, your teeth will be pulled into a straighter alignment. Traditional braces are a quick treatment, and even though people will obviously know that you have braces, you will quickly have an aligned smile that you are proud of.Â
The other option available to adults is clear aligners. These can come with different treatment procedures such as Invisalign or ClearCorrect. The aligners are invisible and need to be updated every 3-4 weeks. It is hard to notice that you have braces, but the results will still be noticeable and impactful. It is possible that clear aligners could take longer, depending on your diligence in wearing your aligners. Whichever treatment you believe is the better option for you, you are guaranteed to gain a straighter smile.Â
Cost
The cost for braces depends on the course of treatment you decide on and the period of time that you have braces. Typically, the braces treatment can last for a year. Sometimes it will be quicker and sometimes it will be longer, it all depends on the misalignment to begin with and the desired results that you are looking for. When you come in for a consultation, the dentist will lay out the different prices for each treatment and possible payment plans and how insurance can help you. Braces may seem expensive at first, but there should be no price for boosting your self-esteem through straighter teeth.Â
No matter your age or where you come from, braces are available to you. It is possible that you feel insecure about getting braces at an older age, but we here at Beacon Dental Group want to reassure you that it will completely change the way you feel about yourself. We invite you to read through each brace treatment in more detail on our website and come in for a consultation!
